Vicenç està a punt de ser pare per primera vegada als 40 anys. Quan el conviden a sopar a casa de la Isabel i el Pere, la seva germana i el seu cunyat, es retroba amb en Claudi, un bon amic de la infantesa. Mentre esperen a l'Anna, la companya del Vicenç, que té per costum arribar tard, li fan tota una sèrie de preguntes sobre la seva paternitat i tot el que comporta sense perdre mai el sentit de l'humor. Quan, de sobte, li pregunten si ja ha triat un nom per al seu nen, la seva resposta els deixa a tots bocadabats.

Vicenç is about to be a father. When his friends invite him to eat at the house of Isabel and Pere, his sister and her brother-in-law, he meets Claudi, a good childhood friend.
