Seis pessoas em Nova York estão à deriva. Zeke e Luke trabalham em uma sex shop: Zeke leva a libertação gay a sério, Luke gosta de brilhar e não leva nada a sério. Ele fica ofendido quando Stephen o chama de clichê gay, então, surpreendentemente, eles se acham atraentes e interessantes. Acontece que Stephen tem um ótimo apartamento, fundo fiduciário e obras de arte que ele pintou nas paredes. Enquanto isso, Peter, um esquisito, e Derek, legal com todos, se mudam juntos. A compulsão de Pedro ameaça o relacionamento. Por fim, a recém-contratada Marilyn, uma alcoólatra em recuperação presa na etapa 2, não consegue parar de ficar obcecada com os detalhes do casamento. He's offended when Stephen calls him a gay cliché, then, surprisingly, they find each other attractive and interesting. Stephen, it turns out, has a great apartment, trust fund, and artwork he's painted on his walls. Meanwhile, Peter, a neat-freak, and Derek, nice to everyone, move in together. Peter's compulsiveness threatens the relationship. Last, newly-engaged Marilyn, a recovering alcoholic stuck at step 2, can't stop obsessing about wedding details. Can these folks sort out civilization and its discontents?
