Orlando e il suo miglior amico, Biagio, si presentano alla famiglia della ragazza del primo, Diana, per chiedere ufficialmente la mano di lei. Biagio, mosso da innumerevoli dubbi e assurdi sospetti, farà di tutto per convincere Orlando della reale natura della promessa sposa e della sua famiglia, nel disperato tentativo di fargli cambiare idea e portarli via con sé.
