Marrubi, una joven terrorista que quiere dejar las armas por una vida de paz, pierde los nervios en su primer atentado negándose a disparar sobre su víctima y abriendo fuego sobre su compañero de comando, provocando su muerte. A partir de ese momento ser verá forzada a huir de sus familiares, compañeros, de la policía y de un rico comerciante que está obsesionado con ella. Con su acción, Marrubi desencadena un torbellino de situaciones contradictorias que nos llevan a entender el horror de la violencia.

Featuring plenty of two-fisted action with romantic and political overtones, this intelligent thriller from Spanish director Daniel Calparsoro is set in the Basque region of northernmost Spain and centers on the clash between two Basque terrorists whose relationship becomes strained when the female starts refusing to kill their enemies. Unfortunately, for someone like her, leaving terrorism can be as dangerous as remaining in the fray.
