Rettet Raffi!

Dr. Henry Wiese went to the Afghan front, his wife Helen, also MD, refused to follow and even threatened with divorce. Kid son Samuel 'Sammi' now clings completely to the hamster Raffi he received from dad. He even gets the vet to perform expensive surgery on the pet rodent, but on the way home it gets accidentally kidnapped by Rocky, a just paroled car thief. Caught in her own lies, Sammi's mean sister Molly and her nice boyfriend Jochen must help search for Raffi, who wanders into adventures and a TV studio 'show starring' door-choosing hamsters, arousing enmity.

Raffi es un hamster dorado cuyo dueño es Sammy, un niño de ocho años. El pequeño roedor no es un hamster cualquiera: no sólo puede marcar goles con un balón de fútbol sino que también puede oler y detectar materiales de contrabando, mejor aún que un perro policía. Sin embargo, un día Raffi desaparece de repente. Ni la madre de Sammy ni su hermana tienen tiempo para ayudarle a buscar a Raffi, y su padre está de camino a Afganistán por asuntos de trabajo, así que Sammy tendrá que buscarle por su cuenta. Pronto descubre que su pequeño hamster ha sido secuestrado por un criminal implacable.
